Went to fill up at Chevron, and was hungry as a hippo! So Sonic seems like a great option, much cheaper than the Johnny Rockets across the street as well. We were in 2 vans, with 18 people. So this comment is for their outstanding ability to keep it together. Also, bathrooms were well kept, dining area was clean enough. Shakes were delicious!

Normally I don't eat at Sonic burger because of a bad experience I had once stopped here at Camp Verde sonic burger because there is nothing else around and low and behold what do I get a raw chicken sandwich friggin gross, only putting a one star on here because it won't let me continue they deserve no stars

Of all of the "fast food" chains I think that this is my favorite. If you are looking for a burger or a chicken sandwich I think they have the best tasting and highest quality products. They also have the unique drinks like their limeades. This particular Sonic seemed to be clean, fast to deliver your order, and their staff was very friendly . The backdrop is pretty cool too considering you overlook the mountains

Sonic... never a favorite of mine. This is a special Sonic though. It is attached to a gas station. I like to fill my trailers water from the gas station rather then towing it all the way from Phoenix. The kids usually need to eat or use the restroom by then anyway. Back to Sonic. This place is in Camp Verde, small town, no job CV. You have to expect the unexpected here. If the service is slow, it is because they can be. If the food is greasy, it is because the cook is. If the server is strung out, it is because she is working in CV at Sonic. The food is OK, the chili is good. Get something with that. The Onion rings are good too. They make interesting drink combinations.

Probably makes money due to its placement, in terms of a Sonic, nothing to jump up and down about....

First and only experience I would ever ever have @Sonic You know, when you watch those Sonic commercials, they are usually late at night and they really make you want to go and eat there. But then, you can't really find one around LA area and the mystery just gets bigger and bigger. My hubby and I went to Sedona to attend my sister in law's wedding. We were driving up from Phoenix and we were passing this place by at like 2AM. We promised to each other that we will try this place out on the way back, and we did, today. It is literally drive in. They have places that you can pull in, order, and eat. They also have dine in place with a restroom. It was ok. Kind of messy but bearable. We ordered two sonic burgers, one chili cheese potato tots, and one Cheddar Poppers. Burgers were ok, but I'd rather go to McDonalds than Sonic's burger. Cheddar poppers were horrible. No flavor whatsoever and the attempt to see some flavor in ranch dressing provided was urr.... failed attempt. It was so blend and frankly disgusting. Even Jack in the box, just a regular fast food joint that can be found in street corners everywhere, has seriously good jalopeno poppers. Chili cheese tots..... wow, dinky little portion of chili and cheese. The servers were very slow. What was really amusing, tho, was how people couldn't take orders. After eating our meal, we wanted a sonic blast with Reeses Peanut Butters. I said Reeses Peanut Butter Sonic Blast twice, and the guy goes, Oh, Oreos? When I said it one more time, the order went in for Butterfingers. Apparently, the customer's order is only a suggestion. You get what they put in for order anyway. Don't expect free refills here. You have to pay 99 Cents for all refills.

This was my first Sonic experience.....It was....interesting. It's a drive in, not a drive through. Soooo, I swing the rental into a stall between trucks two deep on either side. I see the little "car hops" running around bringing bags of fatty goodness. I look at the menu.....I make my selection......I check my blackberry....I check my cell.......Still no food wench...... Then it hits me. Maybe I have to summon the wench. So, I push a red button, and viola! A disembodied voice asks how they can help make me fat by providing some fried treat and high fructose corn syrup. After that, the food got there super fast. The batter on the onion rings was kinda sweet. There's so much stuff on the menu it can be a bit overwhelming. The cherry limeade was pretty grubbin', but it had a TON of ice. It's about a 3.5 for the food itself, but I'm rounding up for friendly service. If you're looking for a menu that's way bigger than McD's or BK, or Jack, try Sonic!

I like most Sonics but this place was a joke. We pulled in for 3 quick shakes but after waiting 20 minutes and seeing other cars come and go with their orders we realized they forgot about us so had to re-order which took another 15 minutes. To make 3 ice cream shakes! The shakes were tasty but the cups were very messy and sticky. To top it off I mistakenly gave the server $40 instead of $20 and didn't realize until I was halfway to Phoenix that this kid kept the money instead of doing the honest thing.

My Sonic fixation continued as we made our way from Page to Phoenix. We made quite a few stops on our way to Phoenix-mostly due to wanting to visit with people who either live up North or were up North to get away from the heat. I have a friend from high school who now lives in Camp Verde so we made a brief stop and upon leaving, hit up this Sonic for yep, Happy Hour! Since this was my last Sonic experience of the week, I decided to stick with what I like best-a cherry slushie. This one was really really good and for some reason, they put in like 8 maraschino cherries which really pleased my husband (I don't eat them but like the flavor) and anything that pleases him makes me extra happy. The delivery of our drinks was smooth and the girl delivering could be on America's Next Top Model (if she can get out of Camp Verde) and we enjoyed watching all of the teenage boys swoon over her.

It's not healthy, it's fast food. Eat it if you want...just don't eat it everyday! Sonic is awesome! They have a huge selection of items, will customize anyway you want on nearly any item. The best part, even with all that, it's really not too expensive. THIS STORE - I have been here a few times on my monthly trips to Flagstaff. The food was awesome and tasted great - exactly like I like it, it all the glory that is unhealthiness, and ya... I go LARGE SIZE! (smile). Like someone else noted - this Sonic tends to put allot more maraschino cherries in the drinks.. VERY NICE! Cherry Lime-aide (don't get the diet), deep fried cheesecake nuggets (don't forget the caramel!), double burgers with cheese and jalapeño's, watermelon slushee, jalapeño poppers, onion rings, and don't forget the SWEET POTATO FRIES! -- the list goes on.... great tasting food that you should not eat everyday.

This is a nice Sonic. I'm glad that I went. The food was well prepared, but a bit greasy. The drinks were on par with other Sonics.

This was the worst experience I've ever encountered at a fast food or fine dining restaurant. I placed an order with the cashier inside and asked for Mozzarella Sticks, Popcorn Chicken, and a Lemon-Berry Slush, to share with the car on our drive home to Phoenix. The cashier was nice but didn't seem to know what he was doing since it took a while to put my order in. When it came out I had two orders of Popcorn Chicken and no Mozzarella Sticks. My drink also wasn't ready with my order. There weren't a lot of customers but the staff seemed overwhelmed enough to pull the managers on the floor. One manager asked one of the main staff how to make my drink and needed assistance with the entire process. She didn't know the product or what it even was. When the product was delivered she was like "here you go" and the staff member who helped her laughed and thought that their unprofessionalism was a joke. I let that same staff member know that my order was wrong and that the cashier rang the order in wrong. She left to speak with a different manager and they both came back to the counter. The staff member questioned if I was unsatisfied due to Sonic's pricing since I used a coupon. That irritated me because the issue was not pricing, it was the fact that they were slow, uneducated about their menu, and thought that their unprofessionalism was a joke. The staff member also explained that it would be a long process to correct my order, and gave me the impression that it would be a hassle on their end. I decided at that point that I was done dealing with this sonic and told them to forget everything. I didn't want to deal with their management since they didn't know their products. When I said to forget it the manager said "Okay, Bye" and didn't seem to care about the poor customer service I received from her and her staff. I've worked in the food industry before and work in customer service currently. I know the standards and this location did not even meet the standards of excellence that I have experienced at other Sonic Eateries.

I'm not a fan of fast food, yet I found myself craving an icy cold beverage while traveling to Sedona. It seemed ridiculous to order from the car for two diet icey cherry limeades, so we went inside. I love how all the girls wear rollerskates and always wish I had some too. I'd roller myself in and order a large, because I love the crushed ice. As we hit the road, the drink hit the spot and we were ready for some fun in Arizona.

5 minutes and 100 button pushes and no answer. Guy pulls up next to us, gets order immediately. Sonic is losing it, this is the third time it's happened, lesson learned. Got Wendy's and was eating by minute 2!!!

Great place. The family loves going there while driving state to state on vacation. Everything was good especially when we noticed it had an inside dining area. That was the first for us. It was perfect because the weather was 100 degrees and we were tired of sitting in the car. We showed up at 11:30 and beat the crowd. When the crowd showed up the staff handled it professionally. I recommend they clean up the one piece of old gum in their lobby though. It can be clearly seen from cashier area. Food was great as always.
